tsk tsk.

i was pretty near the supermarket near my place, and what caught my eye, was the tireless long queue forming outside it.

"Wowies!!!" i thought to myself - "Maybe they've got some awesome good food on sale!! WOO". i just had this irresistable urge to find out what those enthusiastic peeps are lining up for. bleah. my fiery zest faded into plain disappointment. it turns out that they're into gambling. 4D/Soccer Betting/Toto..etc etc etc............................

& i was surprised to see guys who're probably around my age or maybe younger than me, placing their hopes & dreams on a piece of a paper. a 1/200,000 probability of living their dreams. anyone who has done mathematics, even a kid, would exclaim on the absurdity of placing a bet.

life isn't a game of probability.

P.S :

inside my mind, i reckoned that a gambler could probably utilise the money for better uses.
say - $10 a week, for a year would make up to $520. y not, use it for say - charitable purposes or for dining reasons?
