and yeah, the complimentary raspberry frappucibo with cream i had yesterday @ starbux was fantastic. to think that i would be so craving for one now...*drools*, but $5.5 seems a tad too much under normal circumstances.

ACCUSED OF THEFT.

(mini excerpt from the email which ive fired over to DFS's management. in case you're wondering, this email was indeed sent over earlier this morning. )

I am writing this email to inform you of an event which had transpired on the 3rd of December, 2009, 9:35pm, + 8 GMT.

I had strolled casually into the Longines boutique in DFS Galleria. Whilst i was browsing through the selection of watches, the shopping bag i had(which contained products i bought), brushed against the display cabinet, and it created a "thud" sound.

The lady salesperson decked with short hair, of middle age, stormed over to my side, coupled with a disgusting, condescending attitude, raised her voice "Hey, Boy!" I was too petrified to react. i thought to myself "How could she greet me in such a disrespectful manner?" Ive decided not to pursue further but she went on to say : "Did you try to open the cabinet and steal our watches?!"

I was too horrified then. I calmly replied "Erm??!! No." I blushed and i felt so maligned.

Please be reminded that i am, someone who cherishes his dignity and integrity. I know that DFS Galleria is renowned for its excellent customer service(as i do my purchases after at DFS often), so this issue shouldn't surface at all.

-

after this incident, i ruminated over the next few hours, on whether i should send the email and show her some mercy. ( Im not your complaining Singaporean who would send an email for every single transgression committed - this is the first time i had actually took the time to sit down, have a cup of coffee, and prepare a well-executed email )

then again, for someone who didn't show me the mercy from humiliation and embarassment, i couldn't care. Really. Why should i? I reckon that my face coulda been used to scrubbed the floor, literally.

For someone like me who has my humble roots(yes, ive worked in the customer svc line before) i wouldn't even dare to raise my voice at the customer, let alone make false accusations which insults one dignity & integrity. Ive been commended for providing my customers with a rewarding service experience as well. :)

Luckily, I didn't flared up @ the scene. I may be a nice guy, she can bully me, she can scold me, she can raise her voice, but if she were to cross the line and cast shadows on my personality, i'll react accordingly. Like ive said before, I may sound gay on this blog, but im a real man when i step outside.

I don't care if she's gonna eat turkey bones for X'mas.

8:17 PM

hohoho~!! checked out the X'mas tree over @ Ion's.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

8:15 PM

sold this.

the feeling of grasping stacks of $50 notes in my hands was incredulous. hopefully, more to come next year.

this year has been so awesome. Again, i mourn the loss of my timepiece. Such a ravishing beauty.

GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH

iv managed to clear all my modules!! YAY!! :)) rmit sim isn't that easy to clear.
no need to repeat the module and everything else..repeating a course would cost $1,400. *gasp*

you can imagine how petrified i was when i submitted the paper to the invigilator.
i was like, omg...i'd better start drafting a letter of appeal and think of a way to retake the exams.

1 more year to the degree, another year closer to the dream lifestyle.

Thank you, God for everything ive got.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Wednesday, December 02, 2009, 3:16 PM

one of the timepieces ive purchased, approx 2 weeks ago.

unfortunately, this will be moving off soon. i felt that it was such a minimalistic & monochrome watch, with simplicity which will evoke envious stares.

and yeah, the first owner got it for $1,540.

one of those blaphemous movies to look out for in 2010.
(same genre as Da Vinci Code & Constantine)

plot :

In a bid to restart humanity all over again, God starts up the Apocalypse by launching an army of angels to invade Earth and kill all the humans they can find.

Meanwhile, ArchAngel Michael decides that humanity needs yet another chance and decides to rebel, and thus goes down to Earth to save the last of mankind, who hasn't actually been born yet.

So now, Michael has got to protect the mother of the future of humanity whilst trying to avoid destruction from the army of angels.

Finally, ArchAngel Gabriel comes down to deal with Archangel Michael.

it intrigues me, even for a christian like me. :)

From a blog belonging to a guy who shares the same zest as me for life.

He's a car, photography, nature & wristwatch enthusiast. and of course, he's got a mini cooper. *drools*

"I think people are too concerned about the ends, rather than the means. Life is a journey, but the destination is always the same - you'll pass on! It's more about how you live and enjoy life, rather than rushing to your desired stage in life. Too many people say, "I'd be happy when I retire" or "I can't wait till my children grow up!". Why can't you enjoy the moments in-between while that happens?

You have to enjoy every moment in life - it is never about postponing your happiness. You will never be happy that way. You say you'd be happy when you get your promotion, or when you buy your Porsche. When that happens, you'd be too busy setting a new goal to be happy for long. Enjoy the journey, and see the beautiful things in life!

It is difficult to enjoy life if all you see is the future. People always know they should stop and smell the roses, but it is difficult when people along the road behind you are hustling you to move along. People are always in a hurry to grow up, or to reach a stage in life. They think that they can enjoy the fruits by then, without realizing that such an outlook in life is a curse to forever look ahead without the ability to stop."

5:54 PM
